What Will People Say About You When You’re Gone

Yesterday we had our first in-person Tuesday Night Bible Study in what seems like forever.  And I can’t tell you what a joy it was to study God’s Word together, all in one place and all at one time.

And since many of you are unable to attend on Tuesday, I have taken our study and broken it up into 5 sections of about 10 minutes each that I will send to you daily, beginning on the Wednesday following the study – which would be today.

The verses we looked at on Tuesday are as follows:

Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”  He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”  And they asked him, “What then?  Are you Elijah?”  He said, “I am not.”  “Are you the Prophet?”  And he answered, “No.”  Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us?  What do you say about yourself?”  He said: “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Make straight the way of the LORD,’ as the prophet Isaiah said.” (John 1:19-23)

This is the first part of our study of the incredible testimony John the Baptist gave about His Lord.

I hope it helps you grow in your likeness to Him.
